✅ Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Cleaner in a health facility or similar environment
- Ability to read and write
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team and under pressure

- Infection Prevention and Control (IPC)
- Waste management procedures
- Batho Pele Principles
- Patient Rights Charter
- OHS Act compliance
🧼 Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning floors, windows, walls, basins, kitchens, bathrooms, and other designated areas
- Dusting, polishing, scrubbing, disinfecting clinical and non-clinical areas
- Maintaining hygiene standards at all times
- Preventing cross-contamination and removing spillages
- Using correct cleaning chemicals according to IPC guidelines
- Collecting and disposing of waste correctly
- Maintaining cleaning equipment
- Reporting faulty equipment and safety incidents
- Supporting Ideal Hospital Framework standards
