Programme Overview

Available Opportunities

1️⃣ Work Integrated Learning (WIL) – Fixed Term Contract

Overview:
This programme integrates academic learning with practical workplace experience. It is specifically designed for students who require in-service training to complete their qualification.

Requirements:

  • National Certificate N6 (WIL/In-Service Training)
  • Official letter from the institution requesting WIL placement
  • Academic transcript

2️⃣ Graduate Internship Programme (GIP) – Fixed Term Contract

Overview:
The Graduate Internship Programme provides workplace experience to graduates who have completed their studies at a recognised Higher Education Institution (University or University of Technology).

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3-Year Diploma
  • National Diploma
  • Advanced Diploma
  • B-Tech
  • Degree
  • Honours
  • Masters
  • PhD

3️⃣ Learnerships (12–24 Months)

Overview:
The Learnership Programme combines structured theoretical learning with practical workplace experience. It leads to a qualification registered on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) certificate
  • Additional requirements may apply depending on the learnership field

4️⃣ Skills Programme – Fixed Term Contract

Overview:
This programme provides structured experiential learning and practical exposure to improve employability.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 10 / Grade 11
  • National Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
  • N1 – N5
  • NQF Level 2 – 4

Important Information

  • Applicants must be unemployed.
  • Students may not be enrolled in further studies during the internship period (except WIL, PhD, and Doctoral programmes).
  • Completion of the programme does not guarantee permanent employment.
