Apprenticeship 2026 – Olifantsfontein Cereals Plant (Mechanical & Electrical N3)

This apprenticeship programme provides practical workplace training combined with classroom learning, helping candidates gain the skills required to qualify as artisans in the engineering field.
About the PepsiCo Apprenticeship Programme
The apprenticeship programme is designed to give learners hands-on industry experience while studying the theoretical aspects of their trade.
Participants will receive:
- Practical on-the-job training
- Classroom-based theoretical learning
- Preparation for an accredited Trade Test
- Industry experience within a global company
Successful apprentices will complete the programme and undergo a Trade Test at an accredited Trade Centre.
Apprenticeship Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be required to:
- Complete learner readiness assessments
- Participate in Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessments
- Attend all scheduled training sessions
- Complete practical and theoretical training modules
- Submit assignments within required timeframes
- Complete gap training and final Trade Test
- Sign a Learning Programme contract
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the apprenticeship programme, applicants must have:
- Matric / Grade 12 certificate
- N3 qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Studies
