About the Role
Vetsmart is hiring a passionate Pet Sales Assistant to join our Brackenfell North store. You will help customers select and purchase premium pet products, including pet foods and accessories. This role combines customer service excellence with merchandising to drive sales and ensure an exceptional in-store experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain fully stocked shelves and place orders as needed
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) operations efficiently
- Provide accurate product knowledge and recommendations to customers
- Deliver high-quality customer service to increase satisfaction and loyalty
- Uphold store visual merchandising standards and ensure cleanliness
- Monitor stock levels and assist in restocking products
- Promote products and upsell items to meet sales targets
Requirements
- Matric certificate
- Experience in retail sales, customer service, or as a sales assistant
- Ability to work within 25 km of Brackenfell North
- Clear criminal record
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferences

- Candidates with own transport
- Age between 20–45 years
