Key Responsibilities
Selected participants will be responsible for various cash management and processing tasks, including:
Cash Receiving & Preparation
- Receive cash deposits and update transactions in the system
- Inspect containers or bags for damage/tampering and report anomalies
- Prepare workstations for efficient note counting
Note Sorting & Verification
- Sort and process banknotes within cut-off times
- Identify rejected, counterfeit, or damaged notes
- Report discrepancies and balance deposits according to SOPs
Reconciliation & Cash Balancing
- Perform daily reconciliation of all cash deposits
- Verify rejected notes and conduct end-of-day balancing
- Process cash transfers to vaults safely and accurately
Desktop & System-Integrated Processing
- Process deposits accurately on banking systems
- Validate transactions linked to system integrations per bank SLAs
- Escalate system downtime or transaction delays to supervisors
Coin & Payroll Processing
- Process bulk coin deposits according to company procedures
- Prepare and process payroll/change transactions
- Ensure all floats and transactions comply with standard operating procedures
Treasury & Prepack Operations
- Assist with packing/unpacking bank and ATM cash
- Manage consumables and ensure accurate bag/seal records
- Maintain and operate equipment according to company SOPs
Governance & Compliance
- Follow ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Standards
- Support SBV Services’ ESG initiatives and corporate values

Requirements
- Minimum Qualification: Grade 12 / Matric with Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy
- Advantageous: At least 6 months’ cashier/teller experience
