Job Overview

The Furniture Consultant will act as a brand ambassador for @home Livingspace by delivering an exceptional customer experience and assisting customers in selecting furniture and décor that suits their needs. The role involves driving sales performance, maintaining store presentation standards, and staying informed about the latest trends in furniture and homeware.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service and create a positive shopping experience
  • Identify customer needs and recommend suitable furniture and décor solutions
  • Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets
  • Monitor sales performance and actively work towards improving results
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends, products, and technologies in the homeware industry
  • Identify opportunities to generate new business and increase sales
  • Assist with stock replenishment and ensure shelves and displays are well maintained
  • Maintain high standards of visual merchandising to attract customers
  • Ensure the store is clean, organised, and ready for customers at all times

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric certificate) is required
  • Strong passion for working with people and delivering excellent customer service
  • Sales-driven mindset with the ability to meet and exceed targets

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, and evening shifts
