This internship provides an excellent opportunity for unemployed graduates to gain practical experience in conservation, finance, communications, and other key fields while earning a monthly stipend.

Internship Overview

• Programme: SANParks Graduate Internship Programme 2026
• Organisation: South African National Parks (SANParks)
• Location: Kruger National Park (Skukuza & Phalaborwa)
• Duration: 24 Months
• Stipend: R6,355.69 – R9,088.37 per month (depending on NQF Level)
• Closing Date: 27 March 2026

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this internship programme, applicants must:

• Be an unemployed graduate aged between 18 and 35
• Be a South African citizen
• Have completed a National Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or Honours Degree (NQF Level 6, 7, or 8)
• Have studied at a South African Higher Education Institution (HEI)
• Must not have participated in any previous internship or placement programme
• Must not have been previously employed in their field of study

• Environmental Management (X1)
  • Qualification: Diploma/Bachelor’s/Honours in Conservation

  • Qualification: Diploma/Bachelor’s/Honours in Conservation
  • Location: Skukuza
• Scientific Services (X1)
  • Qualification: BSc Honours in Freshwater Ecology, Hydrology, Biodiversity, Water Resources, or Environmental Management
  • Location: Skukuza

Governance, Finance, and Supply Chain

• Governance, Risk and Compliance – GRC (X1)
  • Qualification: Diploma/Bachelor’s in Law, Risk Management, or Accounting
