🔎 Job Description

Dis-Chem Pharmacies is looking for a qualified Security Guard to provide professional security services in line with the Private Security Industry Regulations Act (Act 56 of 2001).

The successful candidate will be responsible for protecting company assets, employees, and customers by maintaining a safe and secure retail environment, preventing theft, and responding to security risks.

✅ Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this Security Guard job in Durban, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Grade 12 (Matric) or Senior Certificate

🧾 Key Responsibilities

As a Security Guard at Dis-Chem, your duties will include:

• Conduct regular patrols to ensure safety and visibility
• Monitor access control for staff, customers, and suppliers
• Identify and respond to suspicious behaviour or criminal activity
• Perform staff searches and vehicle inspections
• Maintain occurrence books and security registers
