About the AVBOB General Assistant Position
AVBOB is searching for an energetic, motivated, and professional individual to join its Preparation Centre team in Pretoria West. The role involves supporting the respectful handling and preparation of loved ones, maintaining hygiene standards, assisting with grave preparation, and ensuring all equipment and vehicles remain clean and functional.
This position also includes transportation assistance, deliveries, office filing, and logistical support.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Preparation and Coffining Duties
- Assist with identity verification and documentation
- Support coffining and preparation procedures
- Transport loved ones to branches for viewing arrangements
- Assist with aquamation processes
- Transport loved ones to medical practitioners when required
Cemetery and Grave Preparation
- Clean and maintain burial equipment
- Prepare gravesite setups according to company procedures
- Pack and clean equipment after funeral services
- Maintain professionalism during burial services
General Assistant Duties
- Perform general cleaning and hygiene maintenance
- Assist with deliveries and transportation tasks
- Clean company vehicles regularly
- Support office filing and basic administration

Minimum Requirements
