Nightshift Cleaner Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining high cleaning and hygiene standards within Capitec Bank branches.
Main Duties Include:
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors
- Cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, and staff facilities
- Dusting furniture, counters, and glass surfaces
- Emptying bins and replacing bin liners
- Refilling soap, toilet paper, and other consumables
- Deep cleaning offices and client areas after hours
- Cleaning windows, doors, and high-touch surfaces
- Reporting maintenance and security issues
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this Nightshift Cleaner position, applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Grade 10 or equivalent qualification preferred
- Previous cleaning experience is an advantage
- Physically fit and able to work long hours standing
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, trustworthy, and professional
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Working Hours
- Night Shift: 20:00 PM to 05:00 AM
- Flexibility required during public holidays and busy periods
