Thulamela Local Municipality is inviting unemployed South African graduates to apply for the Infrastructure Skills Development Grant (ISDG) Graduates Programme 2026.

The programme is funded in partnership with the National Treasury and offers graduates valuable workplace experience in municipal planning and infrastructure development.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or B.Tech in Town and Regional Planning
  • Must be under the age of 35 years
  • South African citizen with a valid SA ID
  • Valid Code 08 driver’s licence will be an advantage

Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates will assist with:

  • Processing land development and rezoning applications
  • Conducting site inspections
  • Designing layout plans
  • Assessing building plans
  • Project management support
  • Township establishment, subdivision, and consolidation processes
