AGSA Learnership Programme 2025 for Unemployed Youth

The African Global Skills Academy (AGSA) is opening doors for unemployed youth across South Africa through a series of fully accredited learnership programmes for 2025. These training opportunities are specifically designed to help young people build skills, gain experience, and secure future employment.

Whether you’ve completed Grade 10, Grade 11, or Matric, there’s a place for you in one of these SETA-funded programmes.

Learnerships Available Through AGSA

AGSA offers a wide range of SETA-accredited qualifications, giving learners the chance to earn nationally recognised certificates while gaining hands-on experience in the field. Each programme includes both theoretical training and practical workplace learning to ensure participants are job-ready by the time they graduate.

1. Food and Beverage Services (NQF Level 4) – CATHSSETA

This programme prepares learners for the hospitality industry, covering everything from food preparation and hygiene to beverage service and customer care. Graduates are equipped to work in hotels, restaurants, and catering businesses.

2. Fast Food Services (NQF Level 3) – CATHSSETA

Perfect for anyone aiming to work in the fast-food industry, this learnership covers service delivery, basic management, and food safety practices in a fast-paced environment.

3. Wholesale and Retail Operations (NQF Level 3) – W&RSETA

Learners in this programme develop skills in sales, stock control, merchandising, and customer interaction. It’s an ideal pathway into the retail and wholesale sector, one of South Africa’s largest employers.

4. General Security Services (NQF Level 3) – SASSETA

Designed for those interested in a career in security, this learnership offers foundational knowledge in guarding, access control, and public safety. Successful completion can lead to PSIRA registration and employment in the security industry.
