This Learnership opportunity is designed to support unemployed youth by offering valuable experience and nationally accredited training. Participants will receive a monthly stipend and work toward a recognised NQF Level 4 qualification in live event technical production.

About the Learnership
The programme is focused on providing practical exposure within a live theatre environment. Participants will attend structured learning sessions and gain experience in behind-the-scenes event production. By the end of the learnership, learners will have developed both technical and workplace skills necessary for a future in live performance industries.
Who Can Apply?
To qualify for the programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Educational background: Must have passed Grade 10, 11, or 12
- Employment status: Must be currently unemployed
- Age requirement: Between 18 and 35 years old
- Criminal record: Applicants must have no criminal record
- Language proficiency: Strong written and spoken English
- Passion and attitude: Must have a keen interest in live technical event production
- Skills: Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Residency: Open only to residents of the City of Johannesburg
