About the Apprentice Level 1 Programme
The successful candidate will report to the Service Manager and will undergo a comprehensive apprenticeship training programme for a maximum period of three years. The programme is designed to equip learners with the necessary technical skills and practical experience required in the motor industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist technicians with the repair and maintenance of motor vehicles
- Remove and replace vehicle parts and units under supervision
- Jack up vehicles and safely position trestles
- Perform lubrication and oil changes according to manufacturer specifications
- Remove and replace wheels, batteries, air filters, and oil filters
- Support all general vehicle repair tasks
- Maintain cleanliness of tools, equipment, and working areas
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Attend required technical training and development courses
- Carry out additional duties as required by management

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
- Grade 12 (Matric) with Pure Mathematics and Physical Science
- Technical Matric will be an added advantage
- Valid Driver’s License (advantageous)
- Clear criminal record
- Basic technical knowledge and mechanical interest
- Strong teamwork skills and good customer orientation
