The City of Johannesburg (CoJ) has opened applications for its Trainee Investigator Internship Programme 2025 (Circular 023/2025). This opportunity is designed for students and graduates from the Johannesburg community who are eager to gain valuable workplace experience within the Office of the Ombudsman.

Available Internship Position

Stipend
- Graduates: R10 109.86 per month (basic salary, no benefits)
- Enrolled students: R3 500.00 per month (basic salary, no benefits)
Minimum Requirements
To be considered, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- A Diploma or Degree in Law, or currently a final-year Law student
- A Law school certificate (advantageous but not compulsory)
- Must be a resident of the City of Johannesburg
Primary Function
Interns will assist the Office of the Ombudsman in safeguarding transparency, fairness, and integrity in municipal governance processes.
