📚 About the Youth Employment Programme
The Youth Employment Programme is designed to give unemployed young people valuable work experience in the retail sector.
The programme includes:
- Classroom-based learning
- Practical, on-the-job training in a retail store
✅ Upon successful completion, participants will receive an NQF Level 2 Checkout Operator occupational qualification.
📌 Minimum Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be a South African citizen
- Be between 18 – 29 years old
- Have passed Grade 12 / Matric
- Be currently unemployed
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Be able to work well in a team
- Not be registered on another Learnership or Skills Programme
