Minimum Requirements
To qualify for these Cleaner vacancies, applicants must meet the following requirements:
Educational Requirements
- ABET / Standard 8 / Grade 10
- Basic reading, writing, and numeracy skills
Experience
- Previous cleaning experience will be an advantage
Physical Requirements
- Must be physically fit
- Able to lift heavy objects
- Willing to work in different departments or sites if required
Required Skills and Competencies
Candidates should have knowledge and understanding of:
- Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Cleaning equipment and cleaning chemicals
- Hygiene and sanitation standards
- Waste management procedures
- Storage requirements for cleaning materials

Key Responsibilities
The appointed cleaners will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across the college premises.
General Cleaning Duties
- Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors
- Vacuum and shampoo carpets
- Clean walls, windows, and corridors
- Dust and polish office furniture
- Maintain boardrooms, offices, and elevators
Hygiene and Facility Maintenance
- Ensure the college environment remains clean and hygienic
- Follow infection control and sanitation procedures
- Freshen office areas and maintain neatness

Kitchen and Restroom Cleaning
- Clean kitchen basins and utensils
- Refill liquid hand soap

Cleaning Equipment Management
