Minimum Requirements

Key Responsibilities

As part of the Dis-Chem Retail Cosmetics Learnership, learners will be trained and expected to perform duties across stock control, merchandising, and customer service.

1. Stock Control

  • Ensure products on shelves are within sell-by dates.
  • Keep shelves fully stocked and participate in stock takes.
  • Organise storerooms and report damaged, expired, or out-of-stock items.
  • Follow stock rotation procedures and maintain neat storage areas.

2. Merchandising

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and product presentation.
  • Set up attractive displays in-store and in window areas.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, makeovers, and promotions.
