  • Salary: R193 359 per annum
  • Job Type: Appointment in terms of the Public Service Act

Job Locations

Successful applicants will be placed in the following areas:

  • Gauteng Region (Boksburg, Modderbee, and Regional Office)
  • Limpopo, Mpumalanga and North West Region (Regional Office)

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements in order to be considered:

  • Grade 12 certificate
  • A minimum of three years of driving experience
  • A valid South African driver’s licence
  • Computer literacy
  • Completion of an advanced driver’s course will be an added advantage

Key Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Driving light and medium motor vehicles to transport passengers and deliver official items
  • Collecting and delivering documentation and related items within and outside the Department
  • Making copies of documents and assisting with registry functions
  • Distributing documents both internally and externally
  • Maintaining the allocated vehicle by ensuring it is clean, in good working condition, and used according to departmental policies
  • Keeping accurate records of all official trips and completing the vehicle logbook
  • Managing departmental assets responsibly
