About EWSETA Skills Development Programmes

The Energy and Water Sector Education and Training Authority (EWSETA) empowers unemployed youth and sector employees through skills development, aligning with national priorities for economic growth, employment creation, and poverty eradication. Funded by the Department of Higher Education and Training, EWSETA offers learnerships, bursaries, internships, and skills programmes in fields like Renewable Energy, Water Treatment, Electrical Engineering, and Environmental Science, ensuring a skilled sector workforce.

Application Process

Submit your application by early 2026 (typically March for bursaries, check EWSETA announcements) via email to info@ewseta.org.za or hand-deliver to 22 Wellington Road, Parktown, Johannesburg. Postal applications can be sent to PO Box 5983, Johannesburg, 2000. Include a CV, certified copies of your ID, qualifications (Grade 12, diploma/degree, or acceptance letter for bursaries), and proof of residence (certified within the last 6 months). Specify the programme (e.g., Learnership: Renewable Energy, Bursary: Electrical Engineering). Incomplete applications or late submissions will not be considered.
