Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the Feltex Graduate Trainee Finance Programme, candidates must have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Financial Management, or equivalent
- Strong academic performance and commitment to excellence
- Excellent English reading, writing, and communication skills
- High attention to detail and interpersonal skills
- Full proficiency in MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
Duties & Responsibilities
As a Finance Graduate Trainee, you will assist with:
Internal Controls
- Comply with internal finance controls
Audits & Year-End Processes
- Assist with ledger balances and trial balances
- Support reconciliations and prepare balance sheet accounts
Cashbook Management
- Check cheque requisitions and process issued cheques
- Update and maintain the cash book, including bank reconciliations
- Process import stock payments for Goods In Transit
Creditors Management
- Prepare credit applications and reconcile creditor balances
- Submit creditor payments and maintain creditor master files
- Forward remittance advice to suppliers
