Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
- Receiving, storing, and issuing stock according to company procedures
- Ensuring that all chemicals, materials, and equipment are handled safely at all times
- Maintaining accurate stock records and assisting with regular stock counts
- Loading and unloading deliveries in a safe and efficient manner
- Operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment when required
- Following all health, safety, and environmental regulations, especially when handling hazardous chemicals (Hazchem)
- Assisting with general warehouse operations and store maintenance tasks
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- A valid Hazchem certificate
- A valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
- A valid Code 10 driver’s license
- A valid forklift license
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Previous experience in a warehouse or storeman position will be advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to following safety procedures
