About the GIBB YES Internship Programme
The YES Internship is designed to give young South Africans real-world work experience in an industry-leading company. Through this programme, participants will gain skills that can significantly improve their employability and career prospects in engineering, administration, and other professional disciplines.
Internship Opportunities Available
Successful applicants will be placed in one of the following areas:
- Business Administration / Project / Bid / Finance – Develop strong organisational and financial skills in a corporate environment.
- Supply Chain Management – Learn about procurement, logistics, and operational processes.
- Water and Integrated Infrastructure (WIIG) – Work on projects that improve South Africa’s water and infrastructure systems.
- Transportation (Civil Engineering) – Gain experience in transport-related infrastructure projects.
- Electrical Engineering – Assist in designing and maintaining electrical systems.
- Mining (Mechanical Engineering) – Get hands-on exposure to mechanical engineering in the mining sector.
- Human Capital Management – Learn about HR processes, talent management, and employee development.
