Greater Giyani Municipality is inviting unemployed South African graduates to apply for its 2025 Internship Programme. This two-year programme offers valuable hands-on work experience in key departments of local government. Interns will receive a stipend of R100,000.00 per year.

Internship Opportunities and Requirements
1. IT Management Intern

- Qualification: National Diploma in Information Technology or Computer Science
- Experience: None required
- Responsibilities:
- User account setup and desktop support
- Software installations, antivirus and backup checks
- Assist users with ICT issues
- Maintain internal IT systems
2. Environmental Interns (x2)

- Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Environmental Management, Nature Conservation, or related
- Experience: None required
- Responsibilities:
- Environmental education and awareness campaigns
- Assist in public events and site maintenance
- Perform general administration tasks
3. Disaster Management Intern

- Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Disaster Risk Management or a related field

- Responsibilities:
- Support disaster preparedness and awareness efforts

- Responsibilities:
- Electrical maintenance of municipal infrastructure
- Maintain traffic lights and street lighting

Stipend
R100,000.00 per annum (fixed for all interns)
