Job Overview

We are hiring a Merchandiser in Belhar, Western Cape. As a Merchandiser, you will play a key role in visual merchandising, stock management, and enhancing the customer shopping experience at Shoprite. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your retail career while working with a top South African retailer.

Key Responsibilities

• Stock Management: Unpack, organize, and maintain inventory levels accurately.
• Visual Merchandising: Design eye-catching displays, create store layouts, and implement promotional materials.
• Product Maintenance: Price, rotate, and maintain products; remove damaged or expired stock.
• Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and store teams to meet business objectives.
• Customer Service: Assist customers, answer queries, and provide product information.
• Store Cleanliness: Keep store and stock areas tidy, organized, and clutter-free.

Requirements

• National Senior Certificate (Matric)
• Own smartphone
• Clear criminal record
• Residence within 15 km of Belhar, Western Cape
• English proficiency
• Previous retail or merchandising experience preferred
