The Media, Information and Communication Technologies Sector Education and Training Authority (MICT SETA) is offering IT and Software Development Learnership Programmes for unemployed South Africans in 2026.

This opportunity allows young jobseekers to gain accredited ICT qualifications from NQF Level 3 to Level 6 while building practical digital and technical skills needed in South Africa’s growing technology sector.

The programme combines structured classroom learning with workplace experience, helping learners prepare for careers in software development, IT support, cybersecurity, telecommunications, and data science.
