Key Responsibilities
Inventory and Stock Management
- Follow Stock Take SOPs and investigate stock variances weekly
- Manage FIFO inventory systems and maintain correct PAR levels
- Investigate and resolve missing or unaccounted stock
- Ensure only approved items are available on the company portal
- Maintain separate storage for damaged or discontinued stock
Receiving, Shipping and Quality Control
- Verify received goods and ensure correct pricing
- Investigate delivery issues such as overs, shortages, and damages
- Ensure temperature-sensitive products are handled correctly
- Work closely with procurement and logistics teams
Warehouse Organisation and Compliance
- Ensure pallet bays are clearly labelled and organised
- Maintain strict access control procedures
- Ensure staff follow PPE and uniform requirements
- Complete daily cleaning and closing checklists
- Address and resolve quality incident reports
Reporting and Systems
- Prepare and distribute daily warehouse reports
- Identify operational gaps and implement improvements
- Maintain accurate records using Sage and MS Office
- Coordinate with procurement to maintain stock levels
Team and Operational Support
- Train team members on warehouse procedures
- Ensure safety compliance in the warehouse
- Assist with operational duties when required
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this opportunity, applicants should have:
- Diploma or Degree in Warehousing, Supply Chain, or related field
- At least 2 years of experience using inventory and FIFO systems
- Previous warehouse experience
- Proficiency in Sage and Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accountability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
