Job Purpose
Rainbow Chicken is looking for two experienced Maintenance Artisans to support maintenance operations in the Chicken Agriculture Division. The successful candidates will supervise maintenance staff, repair agricultural machinery, and work closely with the production team to ensure equipment reliability.
This role is ideal for individuals with strong mechanical, electrical, and supervisory experience within FMCG or agriculture environments.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must have the following:
- Qualified Millwright or Traded Electrician
- Strong mechanical and civil maintenance experience
- Valid Driver’s License (Code 8 or Code 10)
Required Experience
Candidates should meet these experience requirements:
- At least 3 years post-trade experience in FMCG maintenance
- Experience working in a poultry or agricultural environment (advantage)
- Experience repairing agriculture-related machinery and equipment
- Previous supervisory experience
Required Skills and Competencies
Successful candidates should have the following skills:
- Ability to supervise a team of handymen and assistants
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Computer literacy (MS Office)
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work systematically
- Report writing and maintenance analysis
- Experience mentoring apprentices
- Ability to work standby shifts and respond to callouts
- Physically fit to work in hot and cold environments
- Strong attention to quality and workmanship standards
Important Note
This position does not include company housing, so applicants should ensure they can commute or relocate to Worcester.
