The selected candidates will report directly to the Transport Controller and support daily logistics operations within the warehouse and distribution environment.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants interested in the General Worker or Forklift Driver positions must meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Forklift Licence (required only for the Forklift Driver position)
- Ability to read and write

Knowledge and Skills Required

Key Responsibilities
Loading and Off-Loading Operations
- Load and off-load stock at customer receiving points
- Assist with loading and off-loading crates at delivery sites
- Ensure correct stock is delivered by checking invoices
Crate Management
- Ensure production departments always have enough crates
- Separate clean crates from dirty crates
- Operate and monitor the crate washing machine
- Refill water levels when required
- Report machine faults to the line manager
Warehouse and Transport Support
- Maintain clean truck loading bins and warehouse areas
- Ensure proper housekeeping standards
- Report damaged crates and crate totals per customer
Safety and Compliance
- Participate in company safety programmes
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Report any food safety or quality concerns
Additional Duties
- Work shift schedules when required
- Assist with delivery vehicles
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
Work Environment
This role is based in a warehouse and distribution environment. Employees may be required to handle crates, operate equipment, and assist with loading vehicles. Candidates must also follow strict safety and hygiene procedures while performing their duties.
