The Sanlam Corporate Learnership, part of Sanlam’s Youth Empowerment Programme (YEP), is designed to equip unemployed young South Africans with the skills, experience, and credentials to thrive in the financial services industry. This opportunity is focused on transformation and diversity, helping to build a sustainable pipeline of future talent.
Top performers may be considered for permanent junior roles within Sanlam at the end of the programme.

What You’ll Do During the Learnership
- Gain insight into Sanlam’s products, services, and operations
- Participate in classroom-based learning and complete all required assessments
- Apply your knowledge during practical, hands-on training
- Execute supervised tasks in a real workplace environment
- Compile a comprehensive Portfolio of Evidence and learning logbook
Minimum Entry Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be a South African citizen, aged 18–35 years
- Be currently unemployed and not studying or holding a tertiary qualification
- Have completed Grade 12 with:
- At least 50% in English
- At least 50% in Mathematics, Maths Literacy, or Accounting
- Have no criminal or credit record
- Have reliable transport
- Be fluent in English (written, spoken, and reading)
