This internship provides an excellent opportunity for unemployed graduates to gain practical experience in conservation, finance, communications, and other key fields while earning a monthly stipend.
Internship Overview
- Programme: SANParks Graduate Internship Programme 2026
- Organisation: South African National Parks (SANParks)
- Location: Kruger National Park (Skukuza & Phalaborwa)
- Duration: 24 Months
- Stipend: R6,355.69 – R9,088.37 per month (depending on NQF Level)
- Closing Date: 27 March 2026

Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this internship programme, applicants must:
- Be an unemployed graduate aged between 18 and 35
- Be a South African citizen
- Have completed a National Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or Honours Degree (NQF Level 6, 7, or 8)
- Have studied at a South African Higher Education Institution (HEI)
- Must not have participated in any previous internship or placement programme
- Must not have been previously employed in their field of study

- Qualification: BSc Honours in Freshwater Ecology, Hydrology, Biodiversity, Water Resources, or Environmental Management
