Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Security Officer to join our Parow team. In this role, you will ensure the safety and security of company premises, monitor access and exit points, and enforce security procedures. You will also assist the Security Manager with various security tasks and help maintain a safe and controlled environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the security team and provide guidance
- Monitor and control access and exit of personnel and vehicles
- Document and coordinate ad-hoc security services
- Implement and maintain Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) protocols
- Maintain a secure environment while fostering a friendly and professional atmosphere
Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate
- Minimum Security Grade B certification
- Security Grade A certification (advantageous)
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Valid driver’s license (Code EB)
