Vodacom is opening applications for its Early Careers Programme for 2025 / 2026, offering ambitious young graduates the chance to launch their careers with one of South Africa’s leading technology companies. This programme includes two key opportunities – the Discover Graduate Programme and the Vodacom Internship Programme – both designed to develop skills, offer professional exposure, and prepare participants for long-term career success.
Discover Graduate Programme
The Discover Graduate Programme is a permanent employment opportunity paired with a two-year skills training programme aimed at shaping future leaders. The programme provides a comprehensive learning experience through:
- Mentorship and coaching from experienced professionals.
- On-the-job training across different business areas.
- Full employee benefits and competitive salary during the programme.
Graduates will gain an in-depth understanding of Vodacom’s operations, with opportunities to explore various business functions. Upon successful completion, participants transition into a permanent role and may also be offered stretch assignments locally or internationally to build expertise and leadership capabilities.

Minimum Requirements:
- Must have completed at least an undergraduate degree (or equivalent) by the end of 2025.
Vodacom Internship Programme
The Vodacom Internship Programme is a 12-month fixed-term contract designed to give graduates workplace experience supported by a structured training plan. This programme allows participants to:
- Gain practical work experience in a corporate environment.
- Network with industry professionals.
- Explore potential career paths while earning an income.
This internship serves as a pipeline into the Discover Graduate Programme or permanent positions, depending on available opportunities.
Start Dates: 1 February 2026 and 1 March 2026
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have completed at least an undergraduate degree (or equivalent) by the end of 2025.
General Requirements for Both Programmes
- South African citizen by birth.
- Must be 26 years old or younger.
- Must hold a Degree (BCom, BSc, or BTech) – any field – at NQF Level 7 or higher.
- An NQF Level 6 (3-year National Diploma) will only be considered in:
- Electrical / Electronic Engineering
- Computer Software Engineering
- Information Systems / Information Technology
