Location: Kathu, Northern Cape
Closing Date: 18 July 2025
Duration: 3 Years
Positions Available: 4 Learnerships
What This Learnership Offers
Afrimat’s learnership programme isn’t just a training course. It’s a full-scale, three-year journey into the world of mining, designed to give you both theoretical learning and practical, real-life experience. At the end of the programme, successful learners will walk away with a SAQA-aligned trade qualification that could open doors across South Africa’s mining and engineering industries.
You’ll be mentored by experienced professionals, operate in real mining conditions, and gain exposure to tools, machines, and challenges that shape today’s heavy industries.
While full-time employment after the learnership isn’t guaranteed, many participants have successfully transitioned into permanent roles—either with Afrimat or other major mining firms.
