The African Global Skills Academy (AGSA), in collaboration with the Culture, Arts, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport Sector Education and Training Authority (CATHSSETA), is inviting applications for the Food & Beverage Services Learnership Programme 2025. This opportunity is tailored for unemployed youth in the Western Cape who are passionate about hospitality and eager to start a career in one of South Africa’s fastest-growing industries.
About the Programme
This Food & Beverage Services Level 4 Learnership combines theory and practice, giving learners both technical knowledge and workplace exposure. Participants will earn a National Certificate: Food & Beverage Services Level 4, fully accredited by CATHSSETA.
Programme Details:
- Start Date: 1 October 2025
- Location: Western Cape (Cape Town)
- Stipend: R3,500 per month (based on full participation)
On completion, learners will graduate with a nationally recognised qualification and hands-on work experience, making them highly employable in the hospitality industry.
Who Can Apply?
To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be South African citizens aged 18 – 35.
- Reside in the Western Cape (Cape Town).
- Be unemployed at the time of applying.
- Hold at least a Matric certificate or Grade 11 school report (certified within 6 months).
- Submit an updated CV.
- Provide a certified copy of ID (not older than 6 months).
- Persons with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.
