Majuba TVET College, through its Partnership & Linkages Unit, has partnered with the Safety and Security Sector Education and Training Authority (SASSETA) to launch the Graduate Placement Programme 2025/2027.
This initiative is dedicated to empowering unemployed graduates from the Amajuba and Umziyanthi Districts by providing real workplace exposure, professional growth, and career readiness. The programme runs for 24 months, during which successful applicants will receive a monthly stipend to support their transition from academic study into the workplace.
By bridging the gap between theory and practice, this programme plays a critical role in addressing youth unemployment while building a more skilled and employable workforce.
Who Can Apply?
To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Citizenship: Must be a South African citizen.
- Employment Status: Applicants must be unemployed and not enrolled in any other training or educational programme.
- Age Requirement: At least 80% of candidates must be below the age of 35.
- Residency: Applicants must come from the Amajuba or Umziyanthi Districts.
- Qualifications: A completed Degree or Diploma in one of the following fields:
- Supply Chain Management
- Civil Engineering
- Finance
- Information Technology
- Mechanical Engineering
- Health & Safety
- Electrical Engineering
- Quality Management / Risk Management
- Internal Auditing
- Social Science / Arts (with a major in Psychology)
