The National Gambling Board (NGB) is inviting unemployed graduates to apply for its Graduate Internship Programme 2025. This programme offers young professionals the chance to gain structured, hands-on training in South Africa’s regulated gambling industry.

Purpose of the Programme
The NGB Graduate Internship Programme is designed to:
- Provide practical workplace training aligned with graduates’ fields of study.
- Build skills in compliance, law enforcement, IT, and communications.
- Prepare graduates for employment opportunities in both public and private sectors.
- Offer mentorship and exposure to regulatory processes and professional standards.

Available Internship Opportunities
The NGB is recruiting interns in the following fields:
1. Enforcement (NGB/Int 003-2025)
- Stipend: R12,000 per month
- Qualification: National Diploma in Policing or Bachelor’s Degree in Law/LLB
- Focus: Supporting compliance monitoring and the enforcement of gambling legislation.
2. Gaming Control (GCCD) (NGB/Int 005-2025)
- Stipend: R12,000 per month
- Qualification: Three-year National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
- Focus: Assisting with gambling systems control, IT compliance, and data security.
3. Marketing and Communications (CSRD) (NGB/Int 006-2025)
- Stipend: R12,000 per month
- Qualification: Three-year National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or Journalism
- Focus: Supporting media relations, stakeholder engagement, and public awareness campaigns.
All internships are based on 12-month fixed-term contracts and are non-renewable. Preference will be given to previously disadvantaged candidates and persons with disabilities.
