The South African Weather Service (SAWS) is inviting applications for a General Worker to support daily operations at weather offices and remote observation sites. This role is ideal for hardworking individuals who are ready to work outdoors and grow their skills in a technical environment.
🔧 What You’ll Do:
- Assist with installing and checking remote weather stations
- Maintain the grounds (weeding, grass cutting, cleaning)
- Clean office spaces and restrooms when required
- Do basic building and maintenance work
- Help with asset checks, fleet support, and stock control
- Follow Occupational Health & Safety rules and attend training

✅ What You Need:
- Matric / Grade 12 / NQF Level 2
- Valid driver’s licence
- Willingness to do physical and outdoor work
- Welding or handyman skills will be an advantage
