The Department of Employment and Labour is recruiting 141 Unemployment Insurance (UI) Claims Officers across various Labour Centres and Satellite Offices in the Western Cape.

✅ Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Senior Certificate
- 0–6 months relevant experience
- Basic computer skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
Knowledge of the Unemployment Insurance Act, Public Service Regulations, and Batho Pele Principles will be an advantage.
🧾 Key Duties
- Receive and process Unemployment Insurance (UI) claims
- Register employers and verify declarations
- Process approved payments within required timeframes
- Respond to public enquiries
- Perform general administrative tasks
You will help ensure that unemployed workers receive their benefits correctly and on time.
