Job Description
The Cleaning Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that all assigned areas are clean, organised, and hygienic at all times. The role involves performing a variety of cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitising.
You will play an important role in maintaining a safe and sanitary environment through routine cleaning tasks and inspections.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean designated work areas thoroughly and regularly
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces
- Clean windows, mirrors, ceilings, and light fixtures
- Wash dishes and maintain cleanliness in kitchen areas
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors
- Empty waste bins and replace liners
- Respond immediately to spills, broken glass, and hazards
- Restock cleaning supplies and maintain equipment
- Report damages, faults, and repair requirements
- Follow all workplace health and safety regulations
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met

Minimum Requirements
- Must reside within 25 kilometres of Johannesburg South
- Must have a clear criminal record
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently
- Good attention to detail and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working as a cleaner
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Candidates aged between 18 and 65 years will be considered
