✅ Minimum Requirements

Basic reading and writing skills
Appropriate cleaning experience in a health facility will be an advantage

Knowledge of cleaning equipment and cleaning materials
Understanding of hygiene and infection prevention practices

🛠 Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain a clean and hygienic healthcare environment to prevent infections
Perform general cleaning duties such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, polishing, and scrubbing
Use cleaning materials and equipment effectively
Ensure cleaning equipment is cleaned and safely stored after use
Maintain stock control of cleaning supplies
Support supervisors and colleagues in maintaining safety and hygiene standards

⏰ Working Conditions

Willingness to work 12-hour shifts
Ability to work night duty, weekends, and public holidays
Availability for overtime on short notice
May be required to work across different Primary Health Care facilities in the Northern Tygerberg substructure
