Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring customer orders are accurately picked, packed, and dispatched while maintaining high standards of organisation, hygiene, and stock control within the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
Order Fulfillment and Packing
- Picking stock accurately according to customer invoices
- Double-checking orders before packing
- Selecting cost-effective packaging for shipments
Courier and Dispatch Coordination
- Choosing suitable courier services for deliveries
- Capturing customer details on courier systems
- Generating waybills and manifesting shipments
- Verifying parcels collected by couriers daily
Stock Management and Administration
- Updating daily invoice tracking sheets
- Monitoring packaging stock levels
- Printing and applying stock labels
- Assisting with stock counts and inventory checks
- Reporting low-stock items to management
Warehouse Compliance and Cleanliness
- Maintaining a clean and sterile warehouse environment
- Following company hygiene and safety procedures
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate
- Must live in Brackenfell or surrounding Northern Suburbs
- Own reliable transport
- Previous warehouse, dispatch, or logistics experience advantageous
