Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining an organised and safe warehouse environment, handling stock movement, operating forklifts, and supporting daily warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
Duties include:
- Receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming stock
- Picking, packing, and preparing stock for dispatch
- Operating forklifts safely for loading and unloading stock
- Stacking, wrapping, and securing pallets
- Ensuring stock is correctly labelled and stored
- Assisting with stock counts and inventory checks
- Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organisation
- Following health and safety procedures
- Reporting damaged stock, equipment faults, or hazards
- Assisting with warehouse security and stock loss prevention
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate
- Valid forklift licence or certification
- Minimum 2–3 years warehouse or storeman experience
- Good understanding of stock handling procedures
- Physically fit and able to lift and move stock safely
- Basic numeracy and administrative skills
