Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this opportunity, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- A Grade 12 certificate
- Degree or National Diploma in Financial Management or an equivalent qualification
- Computer literacy
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Fluency in both IsiZulu and English
Key Responsibilities
Interns will assist the municipality in key financial functions. Duties include:
- Supporting the implementation of the Municipal Finance Management Act
- Assisting with financial statements, budgets, and management reports
- Conducting reconciliations and financial analysis
- Capturing financial data electronically
- Providing support in other line functions as required
