The General Assistant will support the smooth daily operations of the Preparation Centre by assisting with logistical, cleaning, and operational duties. The role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and respect when handling sensitive services.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
Operational Support
- Assist with preparation centre daily operations
- Support the handling, transport, and documentation processes
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) at all times
Facility & Hygiene Maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene within the centre
- Clean and prepare equipment and vehicles
- Ensure a professional and orderly working environment
Logistics & Transport Duties
- Assist with deliveries and transportation of items and documentation
- Support movement of operational equipment and materials
Administrative Support
- Assist with basic filing and record-keeping
- Support documentation handling and asset tracking
Cemetery & Service Support
- Assist with gravesite preparation and equipment setup
- Support funeral service operations when required
📋 Minimum Requirements
- Grade 10 qualification (minimum)
- Valid Driver’s License with PrDP
- Ability to read and write
- Basic English communication skills
- Physically fit and reliable
- Willing to work in a team and follow instructions
