Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- ABET/AET or Grade 10 qualification recognised by SAQA
- Knowledge of housekeeping and cleaning services
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and machinery
- Good teamwork skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and follow instructions
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within the facility, including:
- Daily cleaning of offices and work areas
- Dusting, polishing, and waxing office furniture
- Sweeping, scrubbing, vacuuming, and shampooing floors
- Cleaning walls, windows, doors, corridors, passages, and elevators
- Daily cleaning and sanitising of restrooms
- Replacing toilet paper and maintaining sanitary facilities
- Emptying and cleaning waste bins
- Cleaning office equipment such as microwaves and vacuum cleaners
- Safekeeping and proper use of cleaning materials and equipment
- Reporting damaged or broken cleaning tools and machinery
