Job Purpose
The successful candidate will assist supervisors, team leaders, and foremen with construction and maintenance duties while ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform general manual labour and construction support tasks
- Keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean and organised
- Follow Eskom safety procedures and SHE policies
- Support daily site operations and maintenance activities
- Work effectively within a team environment
Minimum Requirements
Experience
- Previous experience in yard cleaning or site maintenance will be advantageous
Skills and Competencies
- Basic knowledge of construction and safety practices
- Ability to communicate in English
- Physical stamina to perform manual duties
- Ability to work at heights when required
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Willingness to travel and work away from home for long periods
Knowledge Requirements
