Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- 1–2 years of experience in a similar role
- Previous experience as a waiter, waitron, or cleaner
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work weekends and public holidays
- Reliable, trustworthy, and professional
- Good personal hygiene and grooming standards
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Preparing and setting tables for meals and special events
- Taking customer food and beverage orders
- Recommending menu items and daily specials
- Serving meals and drinks professionally
- Ensuring customer satisfaction throughout meal service
- Assisting with cleaning duties in dining areas and other designated spaces
- Supporting room service operations when required
