Job Description
The successful candidate will support production operations by ensuring products and packaging are available on the line at all times. Duties include maintaining cleanliness, following food safety standards, checking product storage, and assisting with quality control processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Transporting products and packaging materials
- Receiving sweets into trays and ensuring proper storage
- Keeping work areas clean and organised
- Following health and safety procedures
- Reporting quality or safety hazards
- Wearing PPE at all times
- Supporting production improvement initiatives
- Participating in team meetings and problem-solving activities
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate
- 1–2 years of experience in a similar role
- Good communication skills
- Basic computer literacy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced FMCG environment
- Understanding of food safety and manufacturing processes
