This is a great opportunity for experienced drivers who hold a valid driver’s licence with a PDP and are looking for permanent employment in the automotive industry.

Successful candidates will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods while ensuring company procedures and customer service standards are maintained.

About the Driver Role

The purpose of this position is to ensure the safe collection and delivery of goods to customers while maintaining accurate delivery records and complying with company policies and procedures.

Drivers will play a key role in ensuring efficient operations and excellent customer service across assigned delivery routes.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this opportunity, applicants must have:

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• At least 3 years of delivery driving experience
• Valid South African driver’s licence
• Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
• Good time management skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Honest and trustworthy character
• Sober habits
• Clear criminal record

Key Responsibilities

Vehicle Inspections

• Conduct vehicle inspections before departure and upon return
• Report any vehicle faults or damages immediately
• Submit inspection checklists to the Dispatch Supervisor as required

Loading and Deliveries

• Verify parcels before loading the vehicle
• Follow company loading procedures
• Deliver goods according to assigned routes and schedules
• Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time

Documentation and POD Management

• Obtain and manage Proof of Delivery (POD) documents
• Submit trip sheets and delivery documentation daily
• Ensure all assigned documents are returned and completed correctly
• Adhere to company RFC and POD procedures

Vehicle Maintenance

• Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained
• Report mechanical issues or delivery challenges to management immediately
